Soil ingestions

Distributions for soil ingestions are dependent on e.g. age.

Accepted table names: SoilIngestions, SoilIngestion.

idSubgroup

AlphaNumeric (50)

The id of the subgroup.

idSubgroup

Yes

AgeLower

Numeric (50)

Specifies the lower bound of the age interval (in years) of the soil exposure determinant subgroup. Individuals belong to a subgroup when the age of the individual is equal or greater than the specified lower bound and smaller than the specified lower bound of the next subgroup.

AgeLower, LowerAge

No

Sex

GenderType

The sex of the subgroup.

Sex, Gender

No

Value

Numeric

Mean of the distribution.

Mean

Yes

ExposureUnit

ExternalExposureUnit

The unit of the soil ingestion. If not specified, then a default unit of g/day is assumed.

Unit, SoilIngestionUnit

No

DistributionType

SoilIngestionDistributionType

Distribution type (Uniform, or LogNormal). If not specified, the soil adherence amount is assumed to be a constant factor.

DistributionType, Distribution

No

CvVariability

Numeric

Coefficient of variation.

No

Soil bioaccessibility fractions

Bioaccessibility fractions of substances in soil available for or ingestion, i.e., the fraction of a substance that is extracted from soil particles by saliva and digestive fluids in the gastro-intestinal tract. Between 0 and 1, where 1 means that the substance is fully bioaccessible.

Accepted table names: SoilBioaccessibilityFractions, SoilBioaccessibilityFraction.
