Kinetic conversion factors
External exposure can be from one or more exposure routes: oral (dietary or non-dietary), dermal or inhalation and is converted to an internal concentration by a kinetic conversion factor. The internal concentration is related to a specific compartment (biological matrix) in a kinetic model.

Calculation of kinetic conversion factors
By specifying compartments and routes, PBK models can be used to estimate kinetic conversion factors and compute internal concentrations based on external exposures
Inputs used: PBK model parametrisations
